An ART and YOGA Workshop with Siri Om
Sunday, July 29th  1-4:30pm

Using Art & Yoga to Access Your Soul’s Calling

Join Siri Om for an afternoon Workshop combining Kundalini Yoga and Creative Self Expression to access your power of Intuition!

Siri Om In our busy lives, there are many distractions and stresses that pull us out of our “center” and away from our true calling. This workshop will reconnect us with our alignment to our innate “Magnificence”, by developing the courage to hear and trust the deeper stirrings of our Intuition – or “Soul”.

Through the ancient techniques of Kundalini Yoga, and a powerful art meditation thru painting, you will be guided to receive the design of what you want to create in your life at this challenging time on the planet. You will learn how to allow this guidance to flow more freely into your daily experience!

                                                     – just a willingness to try something New!

“I want you to see that art is MESSY. It doesn’t have to be neat, precise or “professional” looking. It is a very unique, personal expression – that is to be valued without judgement.

There is POWER in art to transform and heal. Our society has delegated art to something “childish” and not so important – unlike tribal cultures who appreciate the value of art and keep it very much alive in their daily rituals, and as a means to commune with the Divine.

My hope is that this workshop will give you an experience of using the art materials to access this All-Knowing Voice within you, the One that has been buried or silenced by all the social media distractions around us – and that the focus is not to leave the class with a “pretty picture” – but a deepening of relationship with Self.

That is why combining art with Kundalini Yoga works so well! The Yoga will help you relax in your body and clear your mind, so you can then go to some deeper levels with the art.” – Siri Om

Siri OM is a certified Kundalini Yoga Instructor, having taught for almost 15 years. She has a post-grad qualification in Art Therapy. Siri OM has taught in schools, prisons and homeless shelters, as she sincerely believes that Kundalini Yoga can support ALL people to be their Highest Self, no matter where they find themselves in life. She especially loves the healing power of focused breath work, and beautiful music and chanting that connects us to the Divine Flow in all things.

What to expect in this workshop:

The workshop will include Kundalini Kriyas (exercises) to gently open the 5th and 6th chakras. This will be followed by a deep healing gong relaxation and then meditation with a powerful mantra to access our deeper intuition. There will be some space for discussion to share and witness our intentions with each other. These intentions will then be explored more deeply with paint and art materials, as beautiful uplifting mantras are played.

By deep listening, we’ll use our hands and right brain to create intention that will access the power of our heart wisdom and uncover all that we already “Know”.

Please bring a journal, and wear comfortable clothing, Art Materials are provided – but feel free to bring your own too!
